Seen the enormous success of the preceding edition, both in terms of quality and of quantity for the dispatch of well 186 works, and to promote and to divulge the Short film as forms expressive particularly valid and appreciated, the cultural association IlCorto.it introduces the new edition of the Contest of Short films AWARD " ilCORTO.it 2005 " turned to everybody the Italian Filmakers and foreigners

: THE RULE

1.  The theme is free.

2. Every work (in Italian language or with subtitles in Italian) must have lasts motto of 30 minutes.

3. The registration is free.

4. Prizes will be assigned for:

• The best Short (1° absolute prize)

• The best Director

• The best original Screen-play

• The best Manager of the photo

• The best Assemblage

• The best original Music

• The best Actor

• The best Actress

• Special prize to the good short realized by foreign (non Italian nationality) Filmaker

• Special prize to the good short realized from Student of the DAMS or Italian Schools of cinema

• I reward to the best short realized by Students of Secondary Schools of 1° and 2° degree Italian

• A special " Prize of the Public of Internet " will be assigned through vote among the visible short films (with duration motto of 8 minutes) on the site http://www.culturalweb.it/(the precise date will subsequently be communicated); the short films put in streaming will weekly be select from a technical errand among all those envoys, without attending the normal due date of the contest.

• Prize "Theater of the Form" to n° 5 short films of kind: Yellow, of the maximum duration of 15 minutes. The prize consists in their planning during the event "In Form of Yellow" that it will have been held in Rome since 9 to January 15 th 2006.

• A special prize to the good short on the theme "Made in Italy - Italian Reality" (in the vast form of the terminology).

• The best Documentary.

5.      The Jury will assign the prizes to his unquestionable judgment, without the possibility of ex aequo.

6.      The Jury will be able not to assign one or more prizes and to assign mentions and special prizes.

7.      Every Filmaker can introduce at the most 3 courts, produced after January 1° th 2003; they are admitted short already introduced or winning in other contests, but not to the preceding edition de "ilCorto.it 2004."

8.   The works must preferably be send on support DVD or VHS. It also needs to send a synopsis of around 5/10 lines; 2 photos of scene or the backstage; and the card of registration (scaricabile here in formed .pdf or .doc )

9.    The due dates of presentation of the short ones have fixed to November 17 th 2005 (it will do faith the date of the postal stamp).

10. The whole material must be sends through it posts priority or simple registered letter without mail confirmation to:

11. The date and the place of the awarding as well as the nominatives of the jury and the prizes for the winners will be communicated after November 17 th 2005.

12.  Every Author is responsible of the contents of the introduced work and the diffusion of music protected by copyright.

13.  The sent works won't be returned because they will go to constitute artistic patrimony of the "National File of Short films" been born for purposes didactic-cultural-popular.

14.  To give suitable visibility, the best introduced (and not only to those prize winners) short films can totally be projected or partly for uses didactic-cultural-popular as from authorization in the card of registration; the author will always be quoted.

15.  Likewise, if the screen-plays are also sent, widened synopsis, storyboard of the introduced works, their publication is implicitly authorized, always to didactic-cultural purpose, in the promoting site www.ilcorto.it

16.  The organization is not responsible for the damages or dismay of the sent works. You dissuades therefore the dispatch of the original ones.

17. For causes of great strength or to introduce improvements, the organization can modify the present Rule, giving information of it on the promoting site www.ilcorto.it.

18.  The share to the Contest implicates the integral acceptance of the present Rule.
